Alce Nero boiled and organic borlotti beans come exclusively from Italian crops.
The Borlotto variety is a plant with yellowish pod fruits streaked with red, whose seeds are ivory in color, with burgundy-brown streaks. When cooked they take on a dark color and the inside becomes floury. Ideal for soups and salads, and very practical since they are already cooked.
